Natal Chart Readings
At the exact moment of birth, the stars in the sky offer a prediction, explanation and roadmap for a person’s life. So much of life will be left up to free will and personal choice, but we do not get to choose whether we can brilliantly play the violin or speak seven languages. Our natal charts are about the elements of our lives that arrive effortlessly. For instance, the people who are born gifted orators and the people who understand machines and the people who naturally create beauty everywhere they go. Not everything can be practiced, learned, overcome. So much of our personality is there from the moment of birth. We do not get to choose if we are homebodies or world travelers, extroverts or introverts, politicians or homesteaders. So much of that feels bestowed upon us randomly. Anyone who has watched children grow can see that even children in the same family express dramatically different personalities within the first week of life. There are somber, contemplative babies and cheerful, gregarious babies. Astrology theorizes that there is pattern to those differences. Perhaps in your life you have noticed that you know 15 people born in the month of May, but don’t know anyone born in August. Perhaps that pattern is your quiet magnetism to the traits of people born in a certain season. Perhaps all your great loves have their moon in a certain zodiac sign or your best friends all have some overlap with the main three signs in your chart. Astrology is about being drawn toward patterns, concepts, themes, energies. A chart reading can offer a map or an explanation of why you have traveled to all your past places.
Why book a reading?
We know ourselves. Even by the time we are 7 years old, we are aware of our personality. By 15, we know our skill sets. By 25, we understand our communication style. But few people have the language to describe how our personality and our communication styles work together or perhaps how they wage a constant war in our life. Sometimes the way we learn, is at odds with our love language. Sometimes our love language is at war with our rational mind. Astrology acknowledges the many similar or diverse pieces of ourselves and how they work to put together our adult persona. As a healer, I am most intrigued by how people exhaust themselves by not fully understanding their own internal dynamics. How people fight against their own personal karmic directions to pursue lives that are at odds with their chart. A reading offers validation about what is intrinsically yours in this life, and what may be a cloak you have chosen from someone else’s life.
